Today's episode we explore knowing what we want, how to ask for it, how to live your best sexual life with or without a partner. We will discuss somatic exercises to help you and your partner, as well as, slowing down to enjoy all of the wonderful sensations.  We have a phenomenal guest to help with the discussion.

Lori Rose (she/her) is a disabled, neurodivergent, trauma-conscious sex & relationship educator and somatic movement guide dedicated to supporting teens and adults in integrating their whole selves, navigating change, and liberating their authentic movement and unique brilliance. A survivor of sexual, intimate partner, and workplace violence whose fervent childhood dream was to fly, her mission became ending interpersonal harm and co-creating a new paradigm of healthy connection. Lori’s definition of flying now is human liberation, and her programs and coaching move participants, literally — blending adaptive movement, spoken word art, and creative practices rooted in neuropsychobiology to equip students and clients with lifelong toolkits to dismantle the underpinnings of harm and build healthier selves, relationships, sexuality, and communities.

With an anti-oppression lens and a background in nonprofit leadership, Lori is passionate about breaking down silos and collaborating to grow spaces grounded in safety, dignity, and belonging. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan’s Sexual Health Certificate Program, a two-time TEDx speaker, and an award-winning advocate for her work in violence prevention and building more equitable communities. Lori currently lives in South Carolina, where she appreciates all things nature, tries to avoid cooking, and hosts impromptu movement gatherings with hopes of infusing more joy and connection in people’s lives.
